Kick Off Lace

First off, these shoes are adorable, and SO COMFY! Major flaw, the buckle pin is not long enough! First day wearing it, my shoe came unbuckled/flew off mid-stride as I crossed a street, NOT IDEAL. I had it clasped tight enough, I don't know if the squishy material works against it or what. I literally thought the pin had broken on the first wear, I had to fashion it closed with a bobby pin until I made it back to my car. I noticed upon further inspection that the pin had flipped around to the wrong side of the clasp and I had to maneuver it out, it is just too short, it shouldn't be able to go to the back of the buckle at all! If you don't have it laying "just so" it unbuckles really easily, I'm worried it will keep doing it, I can't keep losing a shoe in traffic. Super cute shoe, terribly comfortable, but ruined by its shoddy pin buckle.
