Melissa + Y/Project carries the whole identity of the latter brand’s creative director, Glenn Martens, combining conceptual detailing with playful proportions and a witty take on historical references. The result is collections with drastically reinvented silhouettes and modified constructions. The French brand, which is highly regarded by top artists around the world, gives life to two new versions of the Melissa Court Shoe, where two models have a washed paint effect and two others have 3DB prints of tapestries, bringing a royal mood to the spotlight.
