These PVC platform clogs are surprisingly light, elegant, and very comfortable. The footbed is well-designed, and the shoes feel great on bare feet, which is not always the case with PVC footwear. The material is soft against the skin, there is no chemical smell at all, and, in fact, they have Melissa's signature pleasant fragrance.
This was my first purchase from Melissa's European online store. I was a little concerned after reading some negative reviews, but I really wanted these sandals for an upcoming seaside trip, so I decided to order them anyway.
In the end, I have only one small remark. At checkout, the estimated dispatch time was stated as 2–3 business days, but my order was actually shipped after 7 business days. That said, once dispatched, delivery was very fast.
Overall, I received my order exactly two calendar weeks after placing and paying for it, which was perfectly acceptable.
I am very happy with both the sandals and the shopping experience. I can confidently recommend both the Melissa brand and their online store.
