A lot higher than I expected, but the fit is perfect as always (true to size) and although the slope seems steep, it doesn't hurt after an hour of walking/standing.

I give four stars only because the sole is quite stiff and the cream coloured bottom sole is this rigid plastic, which makes noise when walking (like whearing heels). The Sole does not bend, is not flexible, so you have to get used to walking on these ones, BUT STILL, not a big issue as that curve at the front takes care of walking properly.

The footbed is the usual soft and comfortable melissa quality one and the top part of the shoe very flexible and hugs the foot properly without digging in.

I'm very happy with these shoes as I've been looking for those 90's style platform slip-ins that give hight and are perfect for going out and about during the summer
